About us

Built on experience. Run with purpose.

Brentwood Marina officially opened on April 6 on Offatt’s Bayou in Galveston, Texas, following a three-year development led by a local father-and-son team. The facility offers both dry storage and wet slips.

Located off Interstate 45 at the 71st Street exit along Broadway Street, the marina provides access to the Intracoastal Canal, East Bay, and the Gulf through the jetties. Services include launching, fueling, vessel preparation, cleaning, and supplies.

The project is led by managing partners Steve Streller and Joey Streller, who bring experience in real estate and boating. Joey said the idea stemmed from their own difficulty finding suitable boat storage in Galveston, which led them to pursue development after identifying available land.

Construction began in 2023, with a focus on durability and long-term maintenance. The facility currently includes 167 dry storage spaces and 28 wet slips, accommodating vessels up to 42 feet. Current wet slip dimensions include 10ft wide and 30ft covered, with bigger ones planned to come. Future phases are expected to expand wet slips to more than 90, bringing total capacity to around 260 berths.

Brentwood Marina partnered with Coastal Marina Management, led by Scott Burt and Caitlin Jewett. Roof and Rack supplied the steel building, while Lucas Construction handled site development.

Joey noted strong early interest, with inquiries and reservations coming in ahead of full operations. He added that the marina’s visibility and the lack of recent marina development in Galveston have helped generate significance.
